When Is the Best Time to Book a Newborn Photoshoot?

The first few weeks with your new baby are full of tiny details that change so quickly. For this reason, I recommend booking your newborn photography session within the first 5–14 days after birth, when babies are often sleepier and naturally curl into those lovely newborn poses.
It’s best to get in touch during pregnancy so we can plan a provisional date around your due date. Once your little one arrives, we’ll confirm a suitable session date together.
If your baby is already a few weeks old, please don’t worry! I’d still love to chat about creating beautiful photographs of your little one. Every baby is different, and there are lovely ways to capture these early memories at different ages.
